I have opened a Linux  class for the people who wants to learn basic/intermediate  Linux .

Here some topics  we will learn during  classes:

Why Linux , what is UNIX , what is kernel , shell

*  file and directories  management

*  Permission

*  monitoring disk usage , little bit about swap

* binary , decimal , hex terminology ,how to convert

* IP address , netmask , network classes

* user/group management

* disk management / file system creation

* Process table monitoring , using top , ps commands

* vi editor

* little bit shell scripting (awk,cut , etc ….)

* NFS server/client

and more …

  We will have  classes twice a week : Tuesday and Thursdays  at 7:00 pm .

Each class day will last 2 hours.
